Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a Flit account or using the Flit application ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.


These Terms govern the service provided under the Flit brand by [INSERT FULL LEGAL NAME], a [INSERT LEGAL FORM] with registered address at [INSERT FULL REGISTERED ADDRESS].

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Flit. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We may suspend or delete accounts where we reasonably believe the account holder is under 18.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate information during onboarding.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You may not transfer your account to another person.
  • One account per person is permitted.

    • 4. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:


  • Post, share, or transmit content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or violates the rights of others.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.
  • Use the Service for commercial solicitation without our written consent.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service.
  • Use the Service in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair it.

    • 5. User-Generated Content

    You retain ownership of content you create. By posting content on Flit, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You may delete your content at any time by deleting your account or by using available in-product deletion controls.

    6. Plans and Social Features

    Flit enables users to create and join social plans at real-world locations. You are responsible for the accuracy of plans you create and for your conduct when meeting other users in person. We are not responsible for in-person interactions between users.

    7. Push Notifications

    Push notifications are sent only where you have granted permission through your device and, where applicable, in-app consent settings. You can revoke permission at any time in your device settings.

    8. Analytics and Crash Reporting

    Flit uses PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for crash and error monitoring. Analytics collection is consent-gated in the app. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.

    9. Account Deletion and Data Retention

    You may delete your account at any time from the app. Upon deletion:


  • Your account record and associated application data are removed from active use.
  • Deactivated accounts not reactivated within 30 days are automatically purged.
  • Backups and operational copies may persist temporarily according to infrastructure rotation schedules.
  • Aggregated or anonymised analytics may be retained where they no longer identify you.

    • 10. Intellectual Property

    The Flit name, logo, and Service design are owned by Flit. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to use our trademarks except as necessary for normal use of the Service.

    11. Third-Party Services

    The Service relies on third-party providers including Clerk, Cloudflare R2, Hetzner/Coolify-managed infrastructure, Expo push services, PostHog, Sentry, and mapping providers. Their terms and policies apply to the parts of the Service they provide.

    12. Disclaimers

    THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, ERROR-FREE, OR SUITABLE FOR EVERY PURPOSE.

    13. Limitation of Liability

    TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FLIT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

    14. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Athens, Greece, except where mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

    15. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide notice in-app or by another reasonable channel before the updated version takes effect. The app records the accepted Terms version via PATCH /me/tos.
